Corporate Retreat

We had a fun time in the mountains this weekend with our company.  This year we took all of our kids which was fine but we later decided it would have been better if it had been warm and they could play outside too. I was surprised to see snow when we got there, it's good most of our vehicles had 4 wheel drive or we wouldn't have made it up the driveway.  It was also great not to have cell phone reception for a few days. Today the girls have off of school so we slept in and went grocery shopping.
We brought a Wii for the kids to play.

They love their PJ's.

I didn't take many pictures of the adults, kids are much more willing subjects. But I know when we look back in 20 years we would probably like to see what we were all doing too.  Zach got a piece of metal in his eye at work on Friday so Jason and Josh ended up taking him to an Urgent Care on Saturday. We felt bad for him  it looked so painful, luckily they had an eye doctor nearby who got the piece out.
Twister pile up with lots of giggling.

Jason carries supplies:  Coke Zero, Honey Whiskey, and a helicopter :)

Today my kids again told me that we tell them "I love you" too much, and that they "already know." I ask them if we should stop saying it and they suggest we cut back to once a week :) Impossible I tell them.  They are just going to have to suffer through our proclamations.  It's a rough life, I know.

We still have to get the car washed since it's super salty and dirty. We also need to get stuff ready for Leilani's 9th birthday party this weekend.  We are having a hard time believing this is her last year of single digit age. She asked for Angry Bird stuffed animals for her birthday and a party with her school friends.  She also gets to be the special person for the week at school which thrills her.
